Now for the Halloween facts I promised...
Did you know that candy corn is the top selling candy with over 20 million pounds sold per year? I have to confess. I like candy corn. I usually buy a couple of bags this time of year. By the end of Halloween, I don't want to see candy corn, and then the next October, I'm ready for my candy corn fix.
I read somewhere that Tootsie Rolls were the first wrapped candy.
At Halloween, about 600 million or so pounds of candy is bought. I have to be counted in that number because I buy candy for the "trick or treaters" who come by.
