Everyone loves a good ghost story. Right?
Here are several of my favorites...
- "The Monkey's Paw" by WW Jacobs
- "A Rose for Emily" by William Faulkner
- "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving
- "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allan Poe
- "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe
Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite writers and poets. I remember, when I was younger, watching an old John Wayne western in which the sidekick quoted Poe's poem, "El Dorado" as they rode along. I think the movie was titled
El Dorado.
