Here's a few tidbits about the first American Thanksgiving.

  • The Pilgrims celebrated the first Thanksgiving at Plymouth, Massachusetts.
  • The first Thanksgiving feast did not include: mashed potatoes, popcorn, milk, corn on the cob, cranberries, or pumpkin pie.
  • The first Thanksgiving feast may have had: lobster, chicken, fish, rabbit, squashes, beans onions, cabbage, eggs, goat cheese, chestnuts, and honey.
  • Spoons, knives, and fingers were the "silverware" used.
